We take great pride in serving our community
Our members receive top tier training from regional fire schools, comprised of the best instructors the state has to offer. We also do in-house training which comes from members with decades of experience in the fire service, spanning various roles.
Roles
Firefighter - Firefighters render aid in emergency situations ranging from motor vehicle crashes to house fires. A firefighter can serve in a variety of roles with many responsibilities. As a firefighter you will be responsible for responding to a variety of emergency scenarios, participating in fire prevention and training, as well as maintaining equipment and the fire station.
Fire Police - The main role of the fire police is to keep the scene safe by aiding in traffic efforts. Fire police are crucial to enabling the first responders to safely perform their duties.
Cadet - The cadet program is designed for members between the ages of 16 and 18 wanting an introduction to the fire service before they are able to become full members. A cadet is restricted to exterior firefighting efforts. We are excited to announce the return of our cadet program for 2024.
Associate - The associate member plays a key role in the operation of the fire department. The main role of the associate member is to aid with fundraising and the day to day operation of the fire department. These members play a critical role in our success!

Our call volume is typically around 300 calls per year
We drill every Tuesday night in order to keep our skills sharp
We have many members that have gotten hired as career firemen from our station
Our membership is made up of members of our local community
Our monthly meetings are the second Thursday of the month
As a private entity we rely heavily on fundraising to keep our department running
